24/7 Prayer House Transforms Crime-Ridden City in 18 Months
When a small group of believers committed to round-the-clock prayer, no one expected what would happen next
Crime rates dropped 67%. Teen pregnancy fell by half. Three major gangs disbanded. Local businesses reported a surge in economic activity. And hundreds of families were reunited.
This is what happened in one mid-sized city after a small group of believers started a 24/7 prayer house and committed to interceding for their community around the clock.
The prayer house began with just 12 people who took two-hour shifts. Within six months, over 400 volunteers were participating. Within a year, the prayer house had become a community hub — offering counseling, job training, and youth programs alongside its unceasing intercession.

City officials, initially skeptical, have publicly credited the prayer house with contributing to the dramatic social transformation. Several police officers have become regular attendees.
"I've been in law enforcement for 25 years," said one officer. "I've never seen anything like this. Something changed in this city. Something spiritual."
