Plunder Hell, Populate Heaven: An Invitation to Partner With Us Through e3 Canada

The short answer

Daniel and Katie Ziedins are evangelists based in Hamilton, Ontario, serving on staff with e3 Ministry Canada, whose mission is equipping God's people to evangelize His world and establish His church. They founded Love on Hamilton in 2014 — weekly street evangelism and practical care for the city's homeless community — which grew into Love on The World, the Overflow Sunday-evening service, Jesus Festival Hamilton, Love Overflow Trainings and Evangelize.World. You can partner by praying, by giving monthly or once through their e3 Ministry Canada staff page (gifts receive a charitable tax receipt), or by joining the outreach; their story and updates live at KD-Ziedins.com.

A word before you read: this one is personal. I'm Daniel Ziedins — I publish Thy Kingdom News — and this isn't a news report. It's an invitation to partner with the ministry my wife Katie and I lead through e3 Ministry Canada. Everything on this site is reporting on what God is doing around the world. This is what He has us doing on our own street, and where we believe He is taking it next.

The evangelist Reinhard Bonnke made one phrase famous across a lifetime of gospel crusades: plunder hell and populate heaven. It sounds like a slogan. It's actually the gospel in battle language.

"No one can enter a strong man's house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man's house." — Mark 3:27

"The harvest isn't the problem — workers are. Since 2014 Daniel and Katie Ziedins have been taking the gospel onto Hamilton's streets through e3 Ministry Canada, and the next step is 100 multiplying outreach groups. Partners who pray, give and go share in every life reached."

Jesus didn't come to negotiate with darkness. He came to bind the strong man and carry off what was stolen. "The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work" (1 John 3:8). And He promised to build a church that "the gates of Hades will not overcome" (Matthew 16:18).

Notice what that verse assumes. Gates don't attack anyone. Gates are defensive. In Jesus' picture, it's the church on offence — and hell straining to hold the door shut. Every addiction broken, every prodigal home, every person who hears the name of Jesus for the first time on a cold sidewalk is a door that didn't hold.

Where It Started: One City, One Street

In 2014, Katie and I started Love on Hamilton: weekly street evangelism and practical care for our city's homeless community in Hamilton, Ontario. Practical care, long conversations on cold sidewalks — and the name of Jesus, spoken plainly, on the street.

We didn't start with a strategy deck. We started with a street and a conviction that the people Jesus went looking for are still out there, and that He still goes looking for them through ordinary people who show up.

Over the years we have watched what our e3 staff page describes in one line: chains of addiction break, lives healed, hearts set on fire for God. Not mostly in stadiums. On sidewalks, in parking lots and stairwells, one person at a time.

What God Grew From One Street

What began on Hamilton's streets didn't stay there:

  • Love on The World — the same simple, street-level model of love and the gospel, carried to other cities.
  • Overflow — a Sunday-evening service we launched in 2022.
  • Jesus Festival Hamilton — a free, family-friendly, city-wide festival, held this September at Gage Park.
  • Love Overflow Trainings — practical, biblical tools that equip churches to share their faith with confidence.
  • The Outpouring — a Pentecost Sunday 2026 gathering in Hamilton, hosted by e3 Canada and I Am Second Canada.
  • Evangelize.World — our current push to establish 100 multiplying outreach groups.

That last one is where the vision is pointed now, and it's the reason for this letter.

Why e3 Canada

e3 Ministry Canada is built on three words: Equipping God's people to Evangelize His world and Establish His church. That is our calling in one sentence.

Evangelism that doesn't equip anyone else ends with the evangelist. Evangelism that doesn't establish the church doesn't last past the event. Through e3, the street, the festival stage, the training room and the local church become one pipeline: reach people, equip believers, plant something that keeps going after we leave. And through e3's partnership with I Am Second Canada, we get to stand alongside people telling the story of what Jesus has done in their own lives.

Addition Fills Rooms. Multiplication Reaches Nations.

Paul gave Timothy a four-generation strategy in a single sentence: "the things you have heard me say... entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others" (2 Timothy 2:2). Paul, Timothy, reliable people, others. That's the math of multiplication, and it is why our goal isn't a bigger event. It's 100 outreach groups — each one led by ordinary believers, each one built to reproduce.

A festival can gather a city for a weekend. A group of five people who go out every week, and then train five more, can still be reaching that city in twenty years. We want both — but the second is how a nation gets reached.

If you've never shared your faith and that sounds intimidating, start with our practical guide to sharing your faith. That's exactly the kind of training we bring to churches.

The Harvest Is Not the Problem

"The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." — Matthew 9:37–38

Jesus never told His disciples to pray for a bigger harvest. The harvest was already there. He told them to pray for workers. Every time we're on the street, we meet people who are open — hurting, curious, searching, ready. What's scarce is people willing to go, and the support to keep them going.

This Is the Invitation

Every army that takes ground has people at the front and people who keep the front supplied. Both are fighting the same battle. When David's men divided the plunder, he made a rule that still preaches: "The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle" (1 Samuel 30:24).

Paul thanked the Philippians for their "partnership in the gospel from the first day until now" (Philippians 1:5), and told them their giving was "credited to your account" (Philippians 4:17). Partnership isn't a donation to someone else's work. It's a share in the fruit.

There are three ways in:

  • Pray. Ask the Lord of the harvest for workers — and pray for us, for the people we meet, and for the 100 groups. We commit to pray daily for our partners.
  • Give. Become a monthly partner, or give once, through our e3 Ministry Canada staff page. Gifts are made to e3 Ministry Canada and receive a charitable tax receipt; partners get regular updates on what God is doing.
  • Go. Join an outreach, start a group through Evangelize.World, or bring a Love Overflow Training to your church.

A Promise About Honesty

You won't get inflated numbers from us. When we tell you what God is doing, we'll tell you what we actually saw — the breakthroughs and the long nights where nothing seemed to move. That is the same standard this newsroom holds every story to, and we hold our own ministry to it too.

Hell Doesn't Get a Vote

Hell will not give up a single soul willingly. It doesn't have to. The strong man has already been bound; the cross settled that. Our job is to walk into the house and carry out what belongs to Jesus — one conversation, one baptism, one changed life, one multiplying group at a time.

Katie and I are all in. We would be honoured to have you with us. Let's plunder hell and populate heaven — together, in Jesus' name.

Key Takeaway

The harvest isn't the problem — workers are. Since 2014 Daniel and Katie Ziedins have been taking the gospel onto Hamilton's streets through e3 Ministry Canada, and the next step is 100 multiplying outreach groups. Partners who pray, give and go share in every life reached.

Biblical Perspective

Scripture treats mission as a shared battle with a shared reward. Jesus bound the strong man so His followers could plunder his house (Mark 3:27); the gates of Hades are on the defensive against the church (Matthew 16:18); David ruled that those who guarded the supplies shared equally with those who fought (1 Samuel 30:24); and Paul called the givers in Philippi partners in the gospel whose gifts were credited to their own account (Philippians 1:5; 4:17).

"The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

— Matthew 9:37–38 (NIV)

Pray With Us

Lord of the harvest, send out workers. Thank You for every person reached on the streets of Hamilton and beyond, and for every chain You have broken. Raise up 100 outreach groups that multiply, and partners who will pray, give and go. Bind the strong man in our cities, open blind eyes, and fill heaven with people who once seemed far from You. In Jesus' name, amen.
